Putting paid to Pay Dirt

There's battles, there's intrigue there's massive space robots. Everything we've come to expect in B.V. Larson's Starforce Series. We finally have the chance to give the Macros and others exactly what they've had coming to them for so long.
Secrets are revealed, relationships with his closest advisers is strained and during it all Colonel Kyle Riggs attempts to do his best for Starforce, Humanity and finally at long last himself.
Assassinations, Coup Attempts, Marine actions and Massive Robot fleets sent on genocidal missions. Humanity only has one man capable of rising to the challenge and rise he does. But will it be enough? Will he succeed were others, even other species have failed utterly? In the end it will come down to determination, ingenuity and the amazing technological quirks of Marvin his pet robot.
But is Marvin everything he seems, a hapless schemer looking out for his own best interests or is he something more? And through it all will Riggs inadvertently put his foot in it and set of the biggest crud-storm this galaxy has ever seen?

A great conclusion to the first Riggs saga

This story was more focused and concise after dealing with a few characters in the previous couple of books. This book harkened back to the first several books in the series and was a very enjoyable read. Some of the story lines are wrapped up with a nice bow yet there are still some threads left to pursue if Mr. Larson chooses to pick this up again in the future. Overall a very worth conclusion to the current story arc.

Great end to a great series

The Start Force Series has definitely been one of my favorite series if not my favorite and this last book did not disappoint, same fast pasted action form beginning to end. Kyle Riggs never ceases to amaze, just when you think he can't get out of this one, he comes up with some crazy completely out of the box idea to save the day. I am really going to miss him. My only consolation is that I picked up 'Steel World' also by B.V. Larson and I loved it. I am looking forward to more in this series it should appease my craving for space bound Sci-Fi action. If you liked the Star Force series you love 'Steel World'.
